    ABSTRACT:

Data integration aggregation have allowed to provide uniform interface for multiple heterogonous sources, metadata and MicroMetadata (MM); this issue has attracted a large amount of attention from different areas. Hence, the problem of finding which digital resources may belong to a specific interest demands specific research. We proposed a model named LBAM: The Learning & Boosting Architecture Model. This process makes emphasis on matching user evolutive interests and MM. It combines of context, geolocation, utility, group, content-venue, and user persona aware-approaches. It is a hybrid Machine Learning Model (MLM) and Boosting Models (MLBM): content-based MLM for events semantic MM extraction and collaborative filtering MLM. It uses Machine Learning Models to improve the identification of the User Interests according to different media types. Using simulation study and prototypes, we show that LBAM may propose many personal channels representing slightly the User Interests in a context of aware- approaches. We put in place a first prototype. This paper is the third part of LB project using LBAM.

    ABSTRACT:

Background: Homestay tourism has been practiced in many developing countries as a model of socio-economic empowerment of the people in rural villages. The government of Nepalhas also prioritizedhomestay tourismas one of the major pillars of the rural economy. Currently, there are hundreds of homestays and thousands of people have been involved in homestay tourism in Nepal. Homestay tourism might have different impacts on the households of homestay operators and their communities in rural villages in Nepal. Objective: This study aims to examine the role of homestay tourism on the socio-economic empowerment of rural people in Nepal. Methods: This study has adopted mixed-methods research. Quantitative method is the main method used in the study, however, qualitative methods have been used to triangulate and supplement the results of quantitative methods. The data were collected using individual interview from 73 homestay operators of seven different community homestays initiated before 2017 in Kaski District, Nepal. Findings: This study has revealed that the homestay tourism has created part-time employment opportunities and generated income in the households of the homestay operators, thereby, increasing the access of rural people to better food, health services, education, clothes, and in maintaining social responsibilities. It has also helped in empowering rural women with more employment opportunities and incomes. Homestay tourism has also encouraged the youths to migrate back to their rural villages. The amount of investment and the increased capacity of the homestays seem to return more income. The homestays have also increased the social network, social involvement, knowledge and prestige of the homestay operators and their families as well as improved the sanitation in the household and community as a whole. Conclusion: The homestay tourism has been instrumental in generating employment and income opportunities in the families of the homestay operators, thereby inducing socio-economic empowerment of the people in the rural villages in Nepal.

    ABSTRACT:

The unlawful objection to the data is considered a serious attack on the freedom of communication and on personal freedoms and their sanctity, freedoms guaranteed by international and national legislation, but the interception of communications on the other hand secures to the judicial and security authorities and is a very important means in the investigation work, and in controlling evidence Or the preparatory work that precedes the criminal act, and to ward off the danger of conspiracies that are prepared against the state and the security of societies, and one of the most important means that helps to uncover crimes and arrest their perpetrators and those involved in them, which requires reconciliation between two conflicting interests, namely: the interest of the individual, his rights and private freedoms, and the interest of State, society and national security.

    ABSTRACT:

This paper presents a comparative analysis of a transfer field machine (TFM) and a poly-phase induction machine (IM) with main focus on physical configuration and principle of operation . It is shown in the analysis that although the two machines belong to two different classes of machine and quite different in physical configuration , yet in their principle of operation , the induced electromotive force ( e. m. f ) as well as the frequency of this induced e. m. f in both the auxiliary winding of the transfer field machine and the rotor of an induction machine , is proportional to slip. And even though the TFM does not have rotor windings, it is also very obvious from the analysis that the auxiliary winding , is playing the role of the rotor winding compared to an IM. The TFM, produces a reluctance torque as a result of the auxiliary (rotor) pole -axis trying to align with the axis of maximum flux . But that of IM, is by alignment of fields ,that is, the rotating magnetic field of the rotor trying to catch up with that of the stator.

    ABSTRACT:

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the readiness of Algerian companies to face COVID-19 outbreak and suggest appropriate control measures in order to avoid business disruption by providing safe work environment. A survey was conducted to investigate the preparedness of Algerian companies in the midst of COVID-19- outbreaks. The survey consists of 24 items. Questions had been clear and direct to know about preparedness and actions taken by companies to face COVID-19 risk. To spotlight on actual situation that Algerian' companies are living, in the midst of virus spread. Also, a model has been proposed to preserve safe work continuity. That is based on the changes imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. This technique allows us to manage well the quarantine period, ensure the functioning of companies within a minimum of employees, showing how to assess risk level, and take appropriate control measures. Results has been indicating that Algerian companies are not enough prepared to continue work in the midst of COVID-19 and a business continuity plan is needed plus appropriate control measures to provide safety and avoid business disruption.

    ABSTRACT:

Since the announcement of the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID 19) in Morocco, the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research has decided to stop classes overall teaching cycles and the launch of Distance Education (EAD). In this context and to ensure pedagogical continuity and diversify possible alternatives, the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research has launched the system of distance education allowing teachers to communicate directly with their students and organize distance learning courses (Platforms, Video clips, Live, Classroom, etc.). Faced with this health crisis situation, several questions arise: Have teachers and learners been prepared and trained to face this unforeseeable situation? What are the distance learning conditions for students pursuing their studies in Morocco? In this study, we opted for a qualitative approach which consisted in collecting factual information via an online questionnaire intended for secondary school students qualifying in Morocco and on the basis of observations made with the same students. Furthermore, after analyzing the results collected, we found that the majority of students use the WhatsApp application to take distance learning courses, more than half of the students indicate that EAD can replace face-to-face classes. We also noticed on the one hand that 46.5% of the students questioned find that EAD facilitates the comprehension of the courses and on the other hand 55.6% of the students testify that it is difficult to follow a distance education. In contrast, 57.6% find that EAD does not change the way their teachers teach. Subsequently, 61.81% of students believe that EAD no longer helps improve education. In the end, we believe that distance education has more advantages than disadvantages compared to traditional education.

    ABSTRACT:

The following paper presents the use of simulators in maritime training development, with an emphasis on ship bridge operations during the training and assessment phase using Mobile Eye Tracking System (METS) and Facial EMG (fEMG). In the maritime field research on human factors, the goal is to implement metrics of eye motions and facial muscle interaction, to explain the basic methodology, and defining several data analysis types. Using both devices is considered an essential facility to understand trainees' competence, sensitivity to uncertain disturbances, and proficiency for the evaluation of Situational Awareness (SA) and stress measurements. The process flow in real-time is implemented by the usage of both devices Tobii pro glasses 2 and (fEMG Shimmer device) connected with iMotions platform for data analysis. It is recommended that a case study be carried out of the fire onboard scenario that verifies the incorporation of both devices as useful tools for simulator training.

    ABSTRACT:

Any bone defect of a limb affects the functional capacity of the body segment in this situation, doctors specializing in traumatology and orthopedics have faced, for which it is imperative to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the use of lyophilized allograft, We understand by benignity, when the tumor is made up of cells of the size, type and characteristics of those of the normal tissue from which they originate, they are circumscribed, encapsulated and do not invade neighboring structures. A descriptive study was carried out since it is important due to its low prevalence to organize the data of the experience that has been had in this medical center with respect to this condition and the use of bone graft for the treatment of this type of injury that, although not are common they can have important sequelae in the functionality of the patient and to carry out the activities of their daily life. A total of 32 patients were obtained, of which 4 were eliminated because they did not meet the inclusion criteria, 21% were in the upper limb, 71% in the lower limb and 7% in the chest respectively, the histopathological diagnoses found that 29% of the patients presented an enchondroma, 25% presented simple bone cyst, fibrous dysplasia in 7% and osteochondroma in 39%, 14% presented chronic post-surgical pain, did not present infections, all recovered functional mobility and 93% of they recovered their complete mobility of the affected limb, which demonstrates their effectiveness and safety.

    ABSTRACT:

Library and Information Service (LIS) Institutions are the places for the attainment of information and knowledge for every citizen. Effective service pre-supposes, developing a good collection, right staffing, and the library's proper management—all of these influence funding availability. In a sense, the provision of funds means the delivery of useful information services. In the same vein, the absence of funds reflects the Poverty of libraries in SL. This study seeks to proffer innovative strategies for tackling the lack of adequate funding to provide effective and efficient library and information services in SL. The qualitative method was used for this study. A review of the literature is done, and an online interview was conducted of ten librarians in SL. The study provided innovative strategies, improving or developing libraries' robust policies, increasing funding or work towards more generous sharing of resources, using the budget for the intended purpose, providing leadership and management of resources, and proper user education for combating the Poverty of libraries in SL.
