    ABSTRACT:

Takayasu arteritis is a relatively rare type of large-vessel arteritis that primarily affects the aorta and its major branches, the coronary arteries, and the pulmonary arteries. Depending on the different groups of blood vessels involved in the disease process, the clinical presentation of Takayasu arteritis varies.Takayasu arteritis (TA) is a chronic vasculitis disease of unknown etiology. Clinically significant renal disease is relatively common, and renovascular hypertension is the major renal problem. Here we report a case of male presenting with a debilitating massive cerebral ischemic infarct that turned out to be a relatively rare presentation of Takayasu arteritis. We reported a case of 28 yr old male presented to the Emergency Department with quadriparesis, pain andnumbness of his arms and absent bilateral radial, brachial and subclavian pulse. His laboratory results showed an elevated leucocytes counts, raised C-reactive protein and erythrocyte sedimentation rate. MRI brain withmr-angiography revealedacut with chronic cerebral ischemic infract with narrowing and occlusion of the major branches of his aortic arch with many collaterals. Contrast ct abdomen revealed significant right renal artery stenosis. Conclusion: Takayasu arteritis is a relatively rare disease with various and sometimes devastating clinical manifestations, such as massive cerebral ischemic infarction as in our case. Currently, there are multiple diagnostic tools and treatment options available, and more under investigation. Early, appropriate diagnosis and initiation of proper therapy could avoid further progression and reduce complications of the disease.

    ABSTRACT:

Lactose intolerance is one of the common clinical condition dealt in pediatrics. Most commonly the child present with abdominal pain and bloating, diarrhea, nausea and flatulence upon consuming food substances containing lactose. In most cases symptomatic management and avoidance of lactose containing food is taken as a solution. Main clinical findings and Diagnosis: In this case, a 5 month old baby was presented with passing watery stools upon intake of breast milk. The symptoms resolved on stopping breast milk and she was given cerelac, as substitute for breast milk. The baby had history of fever and it was managed by course of antibiotic treatment at the age 4 months. Reducing sugar was present in laboratory stool examination. Since the baby had no complaints towards breast milk from birth, but was developed in later life, this is considered as a case of lactose intolerance due to secondary lactase deficiency. The condition was taken and managed by ayurveda as per 'pittaja sthanyadushti' and 'pittaja atisara' chikitsa. No stoppage of breastfeeding was adviced. After 12 days of treatment, the baby had considerable relief. Frequency of diarrhea reduced and also consistency changed from watery stools to semi solid nature.

    ABSTRACT:

The aim of this study was to invest igate the influence of self-concept on health compromising beh aviours among adolescents in Adabraka, Accra. Cluster sampling technique was used to select 120 adolescent students from All Saints Anglican Junior High School and Calvary “1” Methodist Junior H igh School. Data was collected using self- reported scale which consisted of the Adapted Robson Self Concept Questionnaire (Robson, 1989), Adapted Adolescent Alc ohol and Drug Involvement Scale (Moberg, 2000), and Se xualR isk Survey (Turchik&Garske, 2009). Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlatio nal and independent sample t-test, and SPSS (23.0) to explore patterns of association among variables. Results showed that self-concept did not have any correlatio n with smoking. Results also revealed that self-concept did not correlate significantly with alcohol consumption though the relationship was nega tive. It was also found that self-concept did not correlate signif icantly with risky se xualbehaviour though the relationship was nega tive. It could be concluded that, modeling may play an important role in adolescent engagement in health compromising behaviours such alcoholism, smoking and risky sexual behaviour. It is,therefore, recommendad that parents, teachers, guardians and caregivers should regulate and educate adolescents on the implications of health compromising behaviours and also discourage adolescents from observing and imitating wrongly influencial social models ( live or symbolic) who engage in any health compromising behaviour, in addition to assertiveness training to achieve the ‘Ideal Self.’

    ABSTRACT:

From its early beginnings during British control, Indian writing in English has developed into a rich literary heritage with notable contributions from various writers. One of the main factors in the globalization of Indian literature was the translation of works written in the indigenous language into English. The English language acquired popularity in India despite being a foreign language, serving to express social and cultural concepts. The development of Indian literature from its early exposure to Western novelistic traditions to its current unique voice as a symbol of Indian civilization. Women and literature have a tight relationship, as seen by the notable contributions made by female writers.Contemporary Indian novelist Preeti Shenoy is well-known for her best-selling books. Researchers examine Shenoy’s distinct outlook on life, shaped by her wide range of encounters. Analysis of her best-known piece, Life is What You Make It, focuses on its philosophical ideas of willpower and resiliency. The researcher uses realism as a theoretical framework to explore the emotional aspects of people dealing with mental health issues. In contrast to romanticism, realism captures the essence of truth more like photography than art can, showing life as it truly is. The study focuses on the main character of Shenoy’s novel, analyzing how society views mental health and providing an explanation for the character Ankita’s behaviour. The primary insight is that, much like a roller coaster, life requires careful navigation that emphasizes the possibility of recovery while also admitting the challenges. The study uses literary realism to authentically portray the protagonist’s journey and provide a story that moves from tragedy to optimism. The final message reminds readers that life is fleeting and exhorts them to follow their passions and aspirations.

    ABSTRACT:

Digital marketing offers a diverse toolkit for enhancing the visibility, engagement, and sales of products online. This paper investigates the unique landscape of illegal IPTV services, focusing on the challenges and strategies within their digital marketing efforts. Through a mixed-methods approach, analyzing responses from 100 individuals via SPSS, we've uncovered distinct obstacles these services face, particularly in promotion and payment processes. Notably, the study finds that while traditional paid media channels often prove problematic for illicit products due to regulatory hurdles, illegal IPTV providers gravitate towards earned and owned media. These channels circumvent the limitations encountered with paid media, enabling more effective dissemination and promotion of their services. This preference highlights the adaptability required in digital marketing strategies when navigating the legalities and constraints of the digital market space. The insights from this research not only shed light on the operational dynamics of illegal IPTV services but also underscore the broader implications for digital marketing practices in contested or regulated sectors.

    ABSTRACT:

The study delves into the identification and analysis of constraints faced by workers across diverse enterprises and farmers engaged in agricultural cultivation. Through extensive discussions, a plethora of constraints were discerned, each unique to its respective enterprise. Utilizing a comprehensive methodology, constraints were categorized and evaluated through both Total Scoring Method and Principal Component Analysis (PCA).The Total Scoring Method facilitated the systematic ranking of constraints based on respondents' situational perceptions. This involved assigning scores to each constraint and subsequently calculating their frequency to determine their significance. Concurrently, PCA was employed to extract factors, rotate, and interpret them, unveiling underlying patterns and relationships among constraints. In the realm of agricultural cultivation, discussions with farmers elucidated a myriad of constraints. Notably, lower market value for agricultural products and lack of storage reservoirs emerged as prominent issues. Through PCA, these constraints, along with others, were systematically categorized into distinct factors, shedding light on their interconnectedness and impact. The findings underscore the multifaceted nature of constraints impeding enterprise operations and agricultural productivity. Moreover, the scree plot analysis confirmed the relevance of the first 12 factors, collectively explaining a significant portion of the variability in the data. The research provides valuable insights into the constraints faced by workers across different enterprises and farmers in agricultural cultivation. It emphasizes the importance of addressing these constraints through targeted interventions and strategic initiatives to foster sustainable development and enhance productivity in diverse sectors.

    ABSTRACT:

This study analyzes the working time and rest period regulations of representative fishing countries in Europe and Asia for the International Labour Organization's (ILO) C188 - Work in Fishing Convention, 2007. The Quadruple Helix method is used to explore policy implications for the protection and representation of fishermen's working time and rest periods in each country. This study analyzes the potential for harmonization between international conventions and national laws on working hours and rest periods for fishermen, with a focus on the United Kingdom and Norway in Europe, and Japan and the Philippines in Asia. The aim is to identify policy improvements related to the Korean Seafarer's Act with confidence and authority. This study confidently addresses the fatigue and health problems of Korean fishermen who engage in long-term fishing activities on various types of vessels. The study is based on the results of a multi-case comparative empirical study. To achieve the study's objectives, we propose designating fishing vessels and clarifying working hours and rest period regulations under the Seafarers' Act. This proposal will provide compensation and protection for fishermen's labor. This study aims to improve the working conditions and rest periods of fishermen in accordance with the ILO standards. It also aims to contribute to the creation of an environment that enables sustainable fishing activities by harmonising domestic and international conventions.

    ABSTRACT:

There are three classical problems remaining from ancient Greek mathematics which are extremely influential in the development of Geometry. They are Trisecting An Angle, Squaring The Circle, and Doubling The Cube problems. I solve the Squaring The Circle problem, of which paper is published in the International Journal Of Mathematics Trends And Technology (Volume 69, June 2023). Upstream from this method of exact “Squaring The Circle”, we can deduce, conversely/inversely, to get a new Mathematical challenge "CIRCLING THE SQUARE" with a straightedge & a compass in Euclidean Geometry. This study idea came from my exact solution “Squaring The Circle by Straightedge & compass in Euclidean Geometry”, published by IJMTT in June 2023 at https://ijmttjournal.org/Volume-69/Issue-6/IJMTT-V69I6P506.pdf for this ancient Greek Geometry problem. In this research, I adopt the ANALYSIS method to prove the process of solving this new challenge problem, which has not existed in the Mathematics field till today. The process is an inverse/converse solution solving the ancient Greek Geometry challenge problem of “Squaring The Circle”, using a straightedge & a compass. I hereby commit that this is my own personal research project.

Epilepsy (EP) is a ceaseless issue in modern nations because of tobacco smoking, hot food varieties, way of life changes, albuminuria, ulcers, IBS, skin rashes and deferred wounds. Many of these contemporary synthetic drugs were treated through EP-associated disease conditions to expel less therapeutic efficacy, unwanted effects and unknowing unwanted effects. Our present survey found to estimate the various parameters of antiepileptic drug-consuming patients in various zones of Kerala. The literature surveyed based on a selected cohort was used. In our study, 1500 epileptic patient details were collected and within the selection of 500 patients for the utilization of pre and post-test of drugs taken. The examination of HDL levels has shown EP and related illnesses in patients after the medications taken HDL levels for myocardial infarction (2.3 ±0.274↑) were profoundly expanded. The examination of TCH levels has plugged EP and associated diseases in patients after the medicines received TCH levels for just with EP (39.7 ± 3.613↓) and hypertension (31.9 ± 0.466↓), The examination of LDL levels have shown EP and related illnesses in patients after the medicine consuming LDL levels for hypertension (33.8 ± 3.291↓) were altogether diminished The SGOT results showed after the medications overwhelming EP+ tachyarrhythmia (2.5 ± 0.4↑) patients levels were altogether expanded. The SGPT results expressed that the medications taken EP + Inflammation (1.65 ± 0.003↓) patient's levels were wide. The WBCs enumeration levels EP and related inflammation patients after the medications taken EP (312 ±0.170↑) were increased. The assessed haemoglobin levels were unit mg/100ml of blood, which brings about the shown EP and related sicknesses Patients after the drugs received haemoglobin levels were fundamentally expanded EP (0.3 ±0.02↑) and EP + hyperlipidemic (0.2 ± 0.002↑), This utilization study ought to be a critical improvement in the more essential evaluation of destruction-relieving drug blueprints in teaching centres and all hospitals.
