    ABSTRACT:

In the last few years, power demand has increased substantially while the expansion of power generation and transmission has been severely limited due to limited resources and environmental restrictions. As a consequence, some transmission lines are heavily loaded and the system stability becomes a power transfer-limiting factor. Flexible AC transmission systems (FACTS) controllers have been mainly used for solving various power system steady state control problems. Flexible AC transmission systems or FACTS are devices which allow the flexible and dynamic control of power systems. Enhancement of system stability using FACTS controllers has been investigated. This paper is aimed towards the benefits of utilizing FACTS devices with the purpose of improving the operation of an electrical power system. Performance comparison of different FACTS controllers has been discussed. In addition, some of the utility experience and semiconductor technology development have been reviewed and summarized. Applications of FACTS to power system studies have also been discussed.

    ABSTRACT:

This work concerns an experimental study of beef drying with a mixed tunnel solar dryer with forced convection. Drying experiments were carried out at the Centre for Study and Research on Renewable Energies (CERER). The evolution of air and product temperatures as a function of irradiance and the position of the racks was studied, as well as the effect of treatment and air temperature on drying speed. The experimental curves presented in terms of reduced moisture content as a function of drying time are approximated by mathematical models of existing drying kinetics. The effective diffusion coefficients of the different samples with their treatment were determined essentially based on an approximation of the logarithm of the reduced humidities by the solution developed by Cranck on the diffusion equation. The values found for the effective diffusivity are 2, 6669〖10〗^(-8) , 2, 9630210〖10〗^(-8) and 3, 40115〖10〗^(-8) respectively for the samples with peanut paste, with spices and without pre-treatment. The analysis of these results allowed to conclude on the thermal performance of the dryer but also that the "Henderson and Pabis", "Midilli et al" and "Logarithmic" models can be proposed respectively as the most reliable models to describe the evolution of the reduced moisture content as a function of time of the sample without treatment, with peanut paste and with spices.

    ABSTRACT:

Current situation of world is at stake & with every upcoming day it is getting worst due covid 19 pandemic disease. All the healthcare industries and scientist are now engaged in the Race of finding out the vaccine for covid 19 disease but it takes time from months upto years to formulate a standard vaccine. That’s why here comes the time to adapt the new life style changes, as the current pandemic situation demands. As per WHO & American academy of ophthalmology, the chances of corona virus transfer through eyes are strong. And we know that every sense organ has its own counter mechanism system to fight against invading foreign matter. Our Eyes also have its own protective mechanism in the form of tears, enzymes, blinking of eyes, lysozymes & immunoglobulins. Ayurveda contends that routines help establish balance and that understanding daily cycles are useful for promoting eye health. If we follow the routines & procedures mentioned in Ayurveda Dincharya properly chances of infection and illness reduces. Our Acharyas have mentioned about Dincharya in samhintas. There are various daily rituals which, when practiced regularly like padhaabhyanga, Netraprakshalan, anajana, abhyanga, snanam, nasya, kaval & gandhush & mukhlepa, help to support a life of optimal wellness. Mann & eye health, vegavdharan, yoga and eye health, pranayam and eye health, ageing eye disease and rasayan thearapy, triupsthambha etc are also important factors in maintaing eye health.

    ABSTRACT:

Robust studies highlighted the valuable role of student-centered learning approach to acquire the full range of “life skills” among modern learners. Undeniably, the fact that the interaction in learning milieus are so diverse, hence, we need to examine available variables that may influence the validation of skill competencies obtained from learner-centered environment. Results of the study shows that age and religion are insignificant variables to influence the development of soft skill in student-centered approach. Males have better cognitive skills while females are more digitally literate. K12-strand particularly technical vocational is a factor to consider in cognitive development. Academic discipline is a variable that influence enhancement of communication and digital literacy. Pre-college student-centered learning teaching method is variable that affects cultivation of almost all life skills. The study confirmed the enhancement of 21stcentury soft skills: collaboration, digital literacy, communication, creativity, self-directed learning, cognitive, critical thinking skills in student-centered approach.

    ABSTRACT:

Based on a desk, this paper fit to Public administration roles in public policy making and implementation in Ghana. It discusses the participations of Public administration in policy making and implementation and the challenges faced as well. The study also mapped its investigation on empirical literature review that principally focused on the processes, actors, context of participation, among others. The analysis of the role the public administration of Ghana plays, as a democratic state was drawn paying attention to the three variables such as actors, process and context as well as outcomes makes Ghana Public administration possible to understand the multiple dimension of knowledge, beliefs, and power, as well as meaning and values that they frame the public policy making and implementation in Ghana. Recommendations were outlined at the end of the study encompassing accountability and transparency so as to avail the vacuum for policies to be participatory and inclusive in Ghana Modern Administration.

    ABSTRACT:

Denial of service attack was a stretch of Distributed Denial of Service Attack (DDoS). DDoS comes the largest security risks and problems facing Internet users. This risk affecting obstruct with work of any system of targeted organizations, which leads to the harassment of system customer. This attack succeeds by exploiting several weaknesses to access resources in the target organizations. The attacker exhausts all capacity of resources in a period short time. The previous method leads to the denial of using any organization's resources from any authorized user. This paper illustrated DDoS attack and flooding concept have been proposed. This paper deals in general with describing structural approach of DoS attack in different levels of services. In addition, content explains the motivations of the attackers to use different attacks. In particular, the concept of DDoS attack has been clarified. Also describing types of different flooding attack with examines SYN-flood and flooding attack.

    ABSTRACT:

The blockage of the erect muscle fascia (ESP) of the spine is a relatively recent technique that was first described by Forero et al. In September 2016. It has applications in the control of chronic pain with neuropathic component of the thoracic wall, where its original usefulness is born in metastatic rib disease and a defective bonding pathology of multiple coastal fractures. Recent anatomical and radiological research into corpses indicates that the likely site of action for such blockage is in the dorsal and ventral branch of the thoracic spinal nerves. The erecting muscle of the spine is also called sacrospinal and in some texts as a muscular strainer of the spine. ESP is a set of muscles and tendons that extend throughout the entire spine, arises from the anterior surface in the medial portion of the sacrum, at the lumbar level of the spiny apophysis and the thoracic vertebrae 11va and 12va In the lumbar region the erecting muscle of the spine is divided, into three portions: Lateral (muscle Iliocostal), Intermediate (long muscle), Medial (spinal thoracic muscle). In the original description of Doctor Foreo et al. The results were documented with a complete resolution of bone neuropathic pain. ESP blocking is a promise to become a safe, less invasive and useful alternative to clinical application in various pain scenarios.

    ABSTRACT:

In recent years, the marketing channel strategy has been gaining attention among scholars since it is one of the utmost important aspects of marketing mixes. It can lead to the success or failure of multinational business expansion into foreign countries. This go-to-market, or channel strategy, is responsible for transferring products from manufacturers to shoppers and consumers at the right place, right time, and right price. The key success factors for multinational corporations in Thailand can be attributed to the marketing channel strategy. Currently, there is a lack of evidence indicating how these corporations bring the theory to life in the local context, especially when there is a variance between the conditions of the company’s home country and new market. This article will bring to attention the way in which these theories are carried out across 3 key businesses specializing in fast-moving consumer goods. It was found that there are 4-steps in designing marketing channel strategies. These are being employed by analyzing customer needs, clearly defining channel objectives, selecting the channel mixes, and evaluating channel performance, all done to continuously improve the channel execution. In addition, there are more add-on options which are used to make the process more rigorous, for example, customer journey studies, key performance indicators on distribution, sales and profitability aspects, omni channel strategies and rigorous internal and external sources of information for evaluation, all in a timely manner.

    ABSTRACT:

Victims of arthropod-borne diseases may be unaware of the source or circumstances of infection. Symptoms are often vague, initially, and characteristic lesions at the bite site or rashes may be lacking. This review aims to enhance the awareness and recognition of currently relevant diseases borne by hemophagous ectoparasitical arthropods, namely, fleas (endemic typhus and flea-borne spotted fever, plague, cat-scratch disease), human body lice (epidemic typhus, trench fever, louse-borne relapsing fever), and soft ticks (tick-borne relapsing fever). Each disease is described according to five criteria, which are important in disease identification and preventive awareness: Pathogen, vector, incubation period, symptoms, and region.

    ABSTRACT:

Grave´s disease (GD) is an autoimmune disorder characterized by the presence of autoantibodies that bind to the thyrotropin receptor (TR) in the gland, leading to excess production of thyroid hormones maintaining a state of hyperthyroidism. Also this autoantibodies recognize the TR present on orbital fibroblasts, which produce the tissue changes of Grave´s ophthalmopathy (GO): eyelid retraction and swelling, proptosis, orbital congestion (chemosis), exposure keratopathy, extraocular motility dysfunction, as well as compressive optic neuropathy in more severe cases. The case of a 14-years-old patient with bilateral proptosis is presented.
