    ABSTRACT:

Introduction: Oral osteomyelitis is a bacterial infection transmitted through periodontal bone lesions, the incidence and prevalence decreased significantly due to early diagnosis and appropriate use of antibiotic therapy. 1 The clinical picture and course depend on the causative organism, and the strength of the patient's history and physical examination are essential for diagnosis and treatment. 2,3 Treatment is based on the surgical approach and the use of antimicrobials that can terminate the infection early in the course of the disease, so it is important to establish the etiology and specific antimicrobial therapy and to avoid unnecessary use of broad-spectrum antibiotics. It is necessary to understand the pathogenesis of the disease, because if not diagnosed or treated properly, the infection can be fatal or tend to become chronic. Objective: To inform the dental profession of the knowledge that makes up the state of the art on the diagnosis and timely treatment of osteomyelitis, in order to expedite the comprehensive management of this pathology that, without timely care, can be fatal. Material and methods: Taking as a reference recent reports of the scientific literature on the subject, this bibliographic review of the state of the art on oral osteomyelitis is carried out, using different sources such as: journals, scientific articles, books, archived material and other academic works with scientific basis. This documentary review provides a clear basis on osteomyelitis at present, information that allows clinicians to have a detailed overview of this pathology. Conclusions: osteomyelitis is an infection whose main risk is chronicity with impaired function. Early diagnosis and correct treatment is the basis for ensuring recovery and reducing the number of recurrences. In spite of the fact that its diagnosis may raise doubts, due to the similarity with other entities, it is possible to detect it by gathering all the necessary data.5,6.

Quinoa is a type of edible seed that comes in various colours including black, red, yellow, and white. It is classified as a whole grain and is a good source of plant protein and fiber. Unlike some plant proteins, quinoa is a complete protein, it contains all nine essential amino acids that our bodies cannot make on their own. Quinoa is also naturally gluten-free and can be eaten safely if one has gluten intolerance. Quinoa is loaded with vitamins and minerals and contains more fiber and protein than most other grains. It is high in lysine, methionine, and cysteine, which are some of the amino acids that plant foods are frequently low in. Quinoa is also a great source of fiber which can prevent or treat constipation and may lower the risk of intestinal cancers. Regularly eating quinoa can help meeting our needs for magnesium, potassium, iron, fiber, and folate, a vitamin that's especially important. This study will provide the information aboutprotein content of quinoaand its balanced composition of amino acids compared to other grains.

This work describes a novel green and ecofriendly technique for manufacture of pure and metal doped zinc oxide nanoparticles utilising aloe vera plant extract. The microwave approach was used to biosynthesize pure and 1.5 wt% Mg doped nanostructured zinc oxide utilising high purity metal nitrates and aloe vera plant extract. Diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), X-ray diffraction method (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), High resolution scanning electron microscope (HR-SEM), and Photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy were used to characterise the synthesized doped zinc oxide nanoparicles. XRD analyses supported the formation of the hexagonal wurtzite structure in zinc oxide. The FT-IR method also supported the creation of the zinc oxide phase. DRS and PL were used to determine the optical characteristics. The band gap of 1.5 wt% Mg doped zinc oxide was found to be greater than that of pure zinc oxide.

Oranges are rich source of antioxidants including pholiphenolic compounds flavonoids, carotenoids, and vitamin C. These antioxidants have anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties that help protect cells from damage. Oranges are also high in fiber, folate, and potassium, which can support heart health and prevent neural tube defects in unborn babies. Studies suggest that consuming oranges regularly may benefit your health in several ways, including reducing oxidative damage and inflammation, improving the health of blood vessels, enhancing iron absorption, and supporting a healthy immune response. Drinking fresh orange juice has been found to increase skin carotenoid levels, which are good indicators of total antioxidant status of the body. Orange juice has also been shown to increase antioxidant capacity and decrease TBARS concentration in the blood serum. Hesperidin, a citrus flavonoid that's one of the main antioxidants in oranges, has blood pressure-lowering, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant effects in the body. In this review antioxidant factors of oranges and their health benefits has been discussed.

    ABSTRACT:

Vocational schools play a pivotal role in training skilled professionals for specific careers through two-year education programs that offer multiple semesters annually, ultimately granting associate degrees (1). Among these institutions, Health Vocational Schools specialize in diverse health-related disciplines, such as anesthesia, audiology, medical imaging, pharmacy services, and more (2). The focus of this study is the anesthesia program within the Vocational School of Health Services, a critical 2-year program ranked third in university preference for 2022 (3). Anesthesia technicians, educated through this program, are essential personnel responsible for various anesthesia-related tasks. This study aims to establish a standardized framework for evaluating the skills and interventions taught in the two-year anesthesia technician program. It seeks to assess the efficacy of clinical training methods by analyzing the interventions performed by students during their clinical practice training. The study also aims to identify areas where improvements are needed and contribute to the professional development of anesthesia technicians. A cross-sectional evaluation was conducted on interventions performed by second-year students enrolled in the Department of Anesthesia Technician at Health Sciences University Health Vocational School during the 2021-2022 academic year. Ethical approval was obtained, and students underwent clinical practice in various departments. An evaluation form was designed to categorize interventions into anesthesia applications, airway and respiratory procedures, anesthesia device use, and other professional practices. The form tracked variables such as patient evaluation, monitoring, anesthesia application, and more. The study encompassed 65 students, with 47 females and 18 males, aged 18 to 22 years. Analysis of interventions during spring and fall semesters revealed variation in success rates. In both semesters, interventions like drawing arterial blood, orotracheal intubation, and others were assessed. Statistically significant differences were observed in several categories, including patient evaluation, monitoring, anesthesia application, airway maneuvers, and device control. Notably, feedback from instructors and students showed no suggested changes to the evaluation form. The study underscores the significance of integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experience in anesthesia programs. The proposed evaluation form effectively tracks and assesses students' interventions during clinical practice, offering insights into their skills and performance. The findings contribute to improving the education of anesthesia technicians and highlight the importance of standardized evaluation methods for practical training in the field.

    ABSTRACT:

Many commentators did not give Africa, particularly Sub-Saharan Africans, a chance of survival at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2019, based on the existing weak healthcare system and the prevalence of other numerous underlying diseases and susceptibilities; there were shortfalls in hospital beds, physicians, and hospitals, making it difficult to manage sicknesses during the pandemic. As a result of these experiences, it was necessary to look into how e-governance strategies could be used to improve healthcare management systems in Sub-Saharan Africa in a period marked by pandemics or infectious diseases. The Estonian e-governance-based healthcare management system was investigated for lessons and possible use in Sub-Saharan Africa to improve the efficiency of the healthcare management system. The theory of policy learning is used as a framework for study by researchers. This research is based on a critical examination of the Estonian healthcare system's experiences with covid-19 pandemics. The findings show that Estonia's e-governance strategies are quite appropriate in health management during pandemics, and that they reduce the need for face-to-face health management and the challenges that come with it during pandemics; and that lessons learned from the strategies can be applied to effective healthcare management in Sub-Saharan Africa.

    ABSTRACT:

Considering the development of communication technology and the dependence of today's society on it, its use in transportation is important. The increase in many problems in urban traffic management, driving and guidance of cars on suburban roads and the heavy financial and human costs caused by these problems have become a big challenge. At the same time, the development of communication and information technology as an advantage clearly shows the need to use intelligent vehicle communication technology in the field of transportation. VANET is one of these technologies proposed in the vehicle transportation network. One of the problems of inter-vehicle networks is routing or packet transfer speed, which routing is done using mobile network. This network is a protocol based on the TORA protocol that performs routing whenever needed. In fact, it is a demand-based protocol, which means that the source node performs a routing before sending the packet, and a route is not created until the route is needed. This protocol is proposed for very dynamic mobile networks, which we have integrated with genetic algorithm to improve packet sending delay. After the initial routing by the TORA protocol, a population of existing routes is created, which we call the initial population in the genetic algorithm. By using the function of fitness, the main path for the transmission of packets is determined from among the created paths. The position of the cars is determined, and then the relationship between the positions is determined, and in the following section, it is determined that the genetic algorithm has shown its efficiency and increases the speed of data transmission in routing. In this context, the radio position is important, it is determined by the necessary forecasts. There is an error in the setting of the radio system because there is also a disconnection. In general, this system can be implemented with a small error percentage.

    ABSTRACT:

This paper aims to illuminate the contribution of Pramukh Swami Maharaj in sustaining the Vedic philosophical principles propagated by Bhagavān Swaminarayan two centuries back. However, the period of two hundred years is enough to change the phenomenon of historical, social, religious and moral aspects. Consequently, these changes can also be perceived in the various philosophical principles which stand at two different and vast time zones. To address this dichotomy, this article first provides a critical note of the historical tradition of various Vedic philosophical branches and then examines the role and contribution of Pramukh Swami Maharaj in reviving Bhagavān Swaminarayan’s philosophical teachings. During his last years, Pramukh Swami inspired Mahāmahopādhyāya Bhadreshdas Swami to author the Prasthānatrayī Swaminarayan Bhāṣya, which, in Pramukh Swami’s words, encapsulates all the philosophical principles given by BhagavānSwaminarayan. Therefore, I will focus my research on how Pramukh Swami guided the writing of the Prasthānatrayī Swaminarayan Bhāṣya. Moreover, I will also evaluate its principles, whether they follow the principles of BhagavānSwaminarayan or not. The approach of investigation used in this paper will mainly be supported by the Vacanāmṛta (the authoritative text of the Swaminarayan faith), the biographies of the Guruparamparā (the spiritual lineage of BhagavānSwaminarayan), Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s diaries and the Prasthānatrayī Swaminarayan Bhāṣya.

    ABSTRACT:

Background of the study: As the world is battling the COVID-19 pandemic, frontline health care workers (HCWs) are among the most vulnerable groups at risk of mental health problems. Understanding the extend of mental health issues and psychological impact they go through during this pandemic time related to continuous routine Covid duties, working at the frontline with infected patients and related issues are essential in planning necessary strategies and resources to endure various challenges faced by the health care providers ,especially the frontline nurses who are there with the Covid 19 positive patients through out during their hospitalization. Aim of the study: This study attempts to understand the psychological impact of Covid 19 pandemic on frontline nurses from a tertiary care hospital. Methodology: Descriptive survey design was adopted and data was collected from 92 frontline nurses from a selected tertiary hospital. The data collection was done through online survey using Google form platform. .The data collection tools used were sociodemographic proforma, and a Impact of Event scale–revised (IES-R) to measure the psychological impact of nurses. Results: The psychological impact of COVID-19 outbreak, as measured by IES-R scale, revealed a mean score of Mean (±SD) is 36.39 ± 20.07. 30 (33 %) had minimal psychological impact due to COVID-19 outbreak. Around 13 (14.0%) had mild psychological impact (IES-R score of 24–32) and 23 (25%) had moderate psychological impact (IES-R score of 33–36). However, 26 (28%) reported severe psychological impact (IES-R score of >36). Regression indicated that nurses who stayed with family during covid duty days had more psychological distress as measured by IES-R scores (B = -.250, p<.05) compared to nurses who stayed single or without family at workplace. For all other socio demographic variables no significant association with psychological impact of nurses was noted. Conclusion: Understanding the psychological impact of front line covid nurses will help the administration to implement measures to create a working situation which will strengthen the health man power resources. The findings of this study can be used to frame appropriate psychological interventions for health care providers to avert occurrence of mental health problems preventing psychological crises.
