The study examined the roles of periodic markets in fostering rural development in study area. Method of study was cross sectional survey and sources of data were primary and secondary sources. Random sample technique was applied to select six market out of the fourteen listed in the local government. Spatial and temporal patterns of markets were examined, figure 1. Data analysis was the use of likert scale weighted in the design of the questionnaires from (1-5) with (3.0) as criterion mean. Chi-square (X2) was used to test the hypothesis.

The study examined the problems of solid waste management in Yenagoa city Bayelsa State. Method of study was the cross sectional survey and proper identification of residential neighourhoods in the city for sampling. The data collection method was the primary and secondary sources. Analytical techniques used include; univariate and bivariate techniques and test of relationship were established between selected variables, such as between household size and the quantity of solid waste generated.

The regulation of restrictions on individual vehicles as one way of managing traffic control is regulated in Article 133 paragraph ((2) letter a of Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation (UU LLAJ) with the requirements of Article 133 paragraph (1). This limitation is emphasized in Article 60 paragraph (2) letter a with the criteria for the number of passengers and vehicle license plates Another limitation is the restriction of traffic control (Article 133 paragraph (3) of the LLAJ Law.

This study examines the simultaneous relationship between cash holdings and dividend policy, using a sample of 80 non-financial, anonymous firms for the period 2010-2014. The results show that cash holdings are determined by dividend, debt, firm size, profitability, cash flow and risk. The dividend policy is determined by debt, firm size and profitability. Taking simultaneity into account shows a positive causality between cash holding and dividend policy. This causality shows that simultaneity is crucial in the analysis of corporate liquidity and dividend policy.

A change of strategy and security system of a state is a matter that certainly happens. The strategy and security system of a state are not static matters, but they are dynamic with a change of strategy and security system are influenced mostly by the dynamics of strategic environment which keep developing and changing. National security is an element embedded from a purpose of state governance. As the government of state, the government needs an arrangement of national security regarding the authority system of institutions that has a role in the attempt to reach national security.

It was determined that the highest survival rate in paper towels stored in different culture media. The survival rate of the Sunn pest cultured with paper towel was 62% and the non live rate was 38%. The survival rate in Sunn pest cultured with straw was determined to be 72%. A 28% live rate was detected in Sunn pest cultured with straw. It was determined that the rate of non alive in the dried oak leaves was 69% and the rate of living individuals was 31%. The survival rate was found to be 66% in individuals who were cultured with pine leaves, and the non alive rate was 34%.

Floods are naturally occurring phenomena that are part of the physical and biological process which have shaped our nation’s landscape. It is a seasonal phenomenon in Nigerian environment and manifest when there is prolonged rainfall. In most cities in the Niger Delta, Nigeria and the rest of the world, the flood situation is worsening. Flood plains and wet lands are delicate ecosystem that should be effectively managed to control the menace of flooding. Flood plains are synonymous with wetlands.
