Metal Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) is a versatile material used in dentistry which finds its uses in an array of clinical procedures both in restorative dentistry as well as in endodontics. Though introduced in dentistry in 1990s this product has seen maximum research being conducted on it. This review article talks about MTA, its composition, its properties, its different uses and the recent advances advances till date.
