Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae and Staphylococcus aureus are among the most frequent, easily transmitted and resilient microorganisms resistant to several antimicrobials. Introduction: Bile duct injury is a severe and potentially life-threatening complication of laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Several series have described a 0.5% to 0.6% incidence of bile duct injury during laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The aim of this study was to analyze the presentation, characteristics, related investigation, and treatment results of major bile duct injuries after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Case presentation: A case of a 35-year-old woman with a common bile duct injury after laparoscopic cholecystetcomy is presented.

Dementia including Alzheimer is becoming a more significant problem in our society, which an increasing life expectancy; currently about 10% of the population develop some form of dementia during their lifetime. One form of dementia is Alzheimer that account for 50%-70% of the patients, which is characterized by the appearance of plaques and tangles in the brain that involves the aggregation of a protein named tau.

Persons who interest with the same professionality and working on the same goals establish the societies, all the field of life different communities would be a found when the researchers look for that. Particularly in the medical sciences organisations are strongest supporters for the development studies and training activities. In this review, I try to define the limits of the advantages and disadvantages of being a member of the medical societies with the perspectives of me who spend time in these communities.

Objective: Several studies on the use of glycine consumption have demonstrated its anti-inflammatory properties, but not in persons with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. We conducted a study with glycine consumption in CTS to prevent pain and improve Median Nerve function. Material and Methods: Nineteen patients diagnosed with bilateral CTS were selected and administrated glycine 1 g daily for 2 months. Pain level was assessed using the Wong scale and the electrophysiological study was performed to check MN function.

Ectopic eruption of tooth in the oral cavity is often seen. The eruption of teeth extra orally is an extremely rare phenomenon.We report a rare case of mandibular third molar erupting through transcutaneous sinus in a 70 year old patient. CBCT revealed mandibular third molar erupting lateral to the buccal cortex through extra oral sinus. A provisional diagnosis of infected mandibular third molar was made and removal was done through extra oral approach under local anesthesia. The patient recovery was uneventful.

Wound healing has been the burning problem in a surgical practice because of a remarkable increase in the number of traumatic cases. A wound causes a number of changes in the body that can affect the healing process, including changes in energy, protein, carbohydrate, fat, vitamin and mineral metabolism.Various ayurvedic literatures, particularly, Sushrut samhita, which is said to be a ancient textbook of surgery in Ayurveda, has mentioned about the diet for the person suffering from the wound, and the author said that diet plays a very important role in the wound healing process.

Oral habits are learned patterns of muscle contraction and have a very complex nature. They areassociated with anger, hunger, sleep, tooth eruption and fear. Some children even display oral habits for release of mental tension. Such habits are the most frequent cause of these malformations mostly seen in the early childhood and mixed dentition stages.

Hereditary spherocytosis (HS) is a heterogeneous group of hemolytic anemia caused by deficiency or dysfunction of red blood cell (RBC) cytoskeletal proteins. It is a common disorder located mostly in Caucasian population; most affected individuals have mild or only moderate hemolysis. In a few rare cases, the measurement of RBC membrane proteins is required to clarify the nature of the membrane disorder in absence of the family history. Patients with HS are at more risk of developing gallstones, whose prevention represents a major impetus for splenectomy in such patients.

The aim of this article is to study the impact of specialty on the knowledge of physicalactivity and sports among students from two specialties from the Medical College of Varna. The study includes 76 students from Varna Medical College from the following specialties “Inspector of Public Health” (IPH) and “Rehabilitator”.
