Ectopic eruption of tooth in the oral cavity is often seen. The eruption of teeth extra orally is an extremely rare phenomenon.We report a rare case of mandibular third molar erupting through transcutaneous sinus in a 70 year old patient. CBCT revealed mandibular third molar erupting lateral to the buccal cortex through extra oral sinus. A provisional diagnosis of infected mandibular third molar was made and removal was done through extra oral approach under local anesthesia. The patient recovery was uneventful.

Wound healing has been the burning problem in a surgical practice because of a remarkable increase in the number of traumatic cases. A wound causes a number of changes in the body that can affect the healing process, including changes in energy, protein, carbohydrate, fat, vitamin and mineral metabolism.Various ayurvedic literatures, particularly, Sushrut samhita, which is said to be a ancient textbook of surgery in Ayurveda, has mentioned about the diet for the person suffering from the wound, and the author said that diet plays a very important role in the wound healing process.

Oral habits are learned patterns of muscle contraction and have a very complex nature. They areassociated with anger, hunger, sleep, tooth eruption and fear. Some children even display oral habits for release of mental tension. Such habits are the most frequent cause of these malformations mostly seen in the early childhood and mixed dentition stages.

Hereditary spherocytosis (HS) is a heterogeneous group of hemolytic anemia caused by deficiency or dysfunction of red blood cell (RBC) cytoskeletal proteins. It is a common disorder located mostly in Caucasian population; most affected individuals have mild or only moderate hemolysis. In a few rare cases, the measurement of RBC membrane proteins is required to clarify the nature of the membrane disorder in absence of the family history. Patients with HS are at more risk of developing gallstones, whose prevention represents a major impetus for splenectomy in such patients.

The aim of this article is to study the impact of specialty on the knowledge of physicalactivity and sports among students from two specialties from the Medical College of Varna. The study includes 76 students from Varna Medical College from the following specialties “Inspector of Public Health” (IPH) and “Rehabilitator”.

Introduction: Complications due to Diverticular Disease (ED) have a prevalence of 25%. Its clinical presentation may be in abscesses, stenosis, fistulas, bleeding and perforation that will merit urgent or elective surgical treatment. The risk factors associated before and after surgical resolution have not yet been well determined. Objective: To identify the risk factors associated with the most frequent complications of ED that occur in patients of the Hospital General de Naval de Alta Especialidad (HOSGENAES) and the type of surgical treatment most used for resolution.

OBJETIVE: Determinate the family burden in the caregiver of the patient with diabetic foot in the Naval Specialty Hospital of Veracruz. METHODS: The caregiver of a patient with a diabetic foot was observed attending to the wound clinic, monthly period of June to October 2016. The Self-Applied Family Load Scale-Questionnaire was applied to him, through three sections, the objective load, the level of attribution and the subjective load with a reliability of 0.85 No-random sampling and probabilistic sample.

A wide range of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices are used to meet the diverse needs of individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) who have difficulty using natural speech to meet their daily communication needs. Need of the study: Most of the systems mainly focus on semantics and Research has shown evidence significant difficulties specifically in the area of syntactical structures. Aim of the study: To show the effective facilitation from semantics to syntactical structures development of children with ASD by using simple low technology Aided AAC.

The plant was investigated for possible toxicity (both acute and subacute toxicity) in wistar rats. Twenty five female rats were divided into five groups of five rats each. The first group was orally dosed with 2000 mg/kg body weight of the extract for acute toxicity testing. The remaining four groups were used for subacute testing and were dosed as follows; group A received orally administered distilled water, group B received 50mg/kg, and groups C and D received 100 and 200 mg/kg respectively of the extract orally.
