Inflammatory Myofibroblastic Tumor is a rare neoplasm of unknown etiology and pathogenesis. It clinically manifest as mass with rapid development that may occur at almost any site of body, but rarely arise in oral cavity. The lesion has a potential for recurrence, persistent local growth, progression to frank sarcoma and metastasis. We hereby describe a case of Inflammatory Myofibroblastic Tumor of mandible occurring in a 45 year old lady. Because of some aggressive clinical, histological, and radiological features, this lesion may be confused with a malignant tumor.

Date fruit has a high nutritional value that has benefits for health. It has been known the effects of date fruit on the male reproductive system to strengthen the spermatogenesis process, sex hormone regulation, to increase gonadotropin and aphrodisiac activity, but very little research of the dates benefits on the female reproductive system. Date's may has effect on oocyte quality, the interaction of sperm and ovum, implantation and early embryonic development through an antioxidant mechanism. The antioxidants of date fruit can also be useful for the DNA repair from pro-oxidant damage.

The dental restorative materials represent a unique class of biomaterials with some restrictions in physical, mechanical and biological properties like biocompatibility, aesthetics, and ultimate material properties. Fortunately, the dental restorative materials have been the focus of a great deal of research in recent years with the goal of improving restoration performances by changing the initiation systems (composite), fillers (GIC) and by developing novel polymerization strategies (composites) etc.

The use of denture adhesives is common among denture wearers and is also prescribed by many dentists. Denture adhesives add to the retention, stability and thereby improve chewing ability, reduce any instability, provide comfort and eliminate the accumulation of food debris beneath the dentures. Denture adhesive is a material used to adhere a denture to the oral mucosa.

Background: There is mercury present in the silver filling material, called amalgam, in the past century there has been no evidence showing that silver fillings are harmful to patients.

Background: There is no doubt that the platelet rich plasma is a common medical technique,that is known as regenerative medicine, through which local and systemic effect of known plasma growth factors occurs activation, cell proliferation and differentiation depending on recovered cell fraction in the final product obtained. Here, a case-control study presented to objectify the benefit of the systemic application of leukocyte plasma growth factors in cerebral palsy patients undergoing specific neurological rehabilitation programs.

Many retention protocols are in use by various clinicians, the most common being fixed lingual retainers since the degree of relapse is highly unpredictable. Bonded retainers offer advantages compared to conventional removable retainers in that they are invisible from the front, require less patient cooperation, and provide a long-term or even permanent retention.

Background: Staphylococci as a cause of UTI is not uncommon. But studies related to their association with UTI and their resistance patterns are limited.Therefore this study was undertaken to know the rate of isolation of urinary staphylococci with special reference to methicillin resistant strains. Material & Methods: Urine samples collected from clinically suspected UTI cases were processed and those samples which yielded staphylococci were included in the study. Their antibiogram was determined by Kirby-Bauer disc diffusion method .
