Liberalization and globalization of the Indian economy has thrown new challenges before the academicians, researchers and professionals and the emerging challenges have forced them to join hands with each other in providing accounting education in India. Development in global accounting is the burning challenge globally including India. The growth of multinational firms and international business has given impetus to international co-operation in the setting of international accounting standards.

The study examined the impact of capital market on foreign portfolio investment in Nigeria for the period 1986 to 2014. The study specifically assessed the relationship between market capitalization, all share index, total new issues and foreign portfolio investment in Nigeria. To achieve these objectives, the study adopted the ex-pose facto research design. The desk survey method was used to collect time series data from the CBN statistical Bulletin for the period under study. The ordinary least squared multiple regression technique was used to analyse the data.

The objectives of this paper were to carry out a meta-analysis for the tourism and service businesses in Pattaya, investigate current situation of its tourism, expectations of tourists, problems and obstacles, future tourism and service businesses and influential factors for stability and sustainability of tourism and service businesses in the studied area. Meta- analysis, Delphi technique and survey research were employed in an integrative approach, with focus group.

History is the story of post happenings and events. It acts as a laboratory that experiment with the past. Past gives us the answer of our quest regarding People’s present behavior. With a deep rooted study of history, knowledge can be gathered regarding the present world, that how it has changed over time. According to a Philosopher George Santayana, “without learning lessons from the post you are deemed to repeat them in future”. In this study, we examine the valuation of Initial Public offering (IPO) of 109 different companies during the three time periods - January 2014 to December 2014, January 2015 to December 2015 and January 2016 to December 2016. This period is designated as the period when India was regaining the political stability.

In a competitive and brand conscious market, like Kenya, building brand equity of any product is a challenging task. Companies need to assess the prior experiences and future aspirations of consumers to possess these brands. In this context, we examine the effect of advertisement and word of mouth on brand equity. Data was collected from 384 shoppers from three supermarkets Eldoret town, Kenya, through self-administered questionnaires using systematic sampling technique. Out of these, 346 were used for the purpose of this study, which provided a response rate of 90 percent.

This study focused on the effect of broken home on students’ academic achievements in Ohaukwu local government area of Ebonyi state. Specifically, the study sought to: examine the Effect of broken homes on students’ regular attendance to school, performance in continuous assessment, concentration during class lessons and students’ performance during examinations. A survey research design was used for the study. The population of the study was 3000 secondary school teachers while the sample size of the study was determined to be 300 using Yaro Yamane formula.

This study examined the prevalence of DMDD among primary school children in Abakaliki Metropolis of Ebonyi State, Nigeria and its attendant psychological implications on emotional nurturing. The study employed a qualitative survey research interview method. The population consists of 386 respondents. The researcher using purposive simple random sampling technique was used to select a sample of 188 respondents which comprised of primary school teachers with teaching experience ranging from 2-20 years.

This study examined the effect of income factor on stock returns on Ho Chi Minh stock exchange using data collected from 2006 to 2014. Results from OLS regression showed that, compair to the other commonly-documented factors (market, size, value and liquidity factors), the income factor had a less significant impact on the stock returns. This mean that investors on stock market did not use EPS as a important variable in their stock-pricing model. Grounded on the findings, we put forward some recommendations.

A negative response to the use of comparative advertising in high-context cultures such as Asian cultures make use of comparative advertising is becoming increasingly unpopular. Including in Indonesia use comparative ads for low involvement products more and more are turning to the use of non-comparative ads. The sampling techniques in this study using purposive sampling technique. The population in this study is that a consumer Luwak White Koffie by the number of respondents was 200. This study tested using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling).
