We report the case of a 43-year-old woman who had a laparoscopic uterine fibroid resection, admitted for rapid progressive abdominal distention, and for whom MRI and histological examination confirmed the diagnosis of diffuse peritoneal leiomyomatosis. This begnin pathology is rarely described in the literature and its knowledge and important because of the pseudotumoral morphological appearance.

Objetivo: Determinar que los niveles persistentes o en incremento de los Tg-Ac son un marcador de recurrencia del cáncer diferenciado de tiroides.
Mucormycosis is a very aggressive invasive fungal disease. One of its type is the rhino-maxillary (RMM) type which predominantly involved nose and maxilla. Commonly, this disease occurs in persons with immunosuppression, diabetic ketoacidosis and those on antibiotics, steroid or immunomodulaters which are now commonly used in the Covid 19 treatment. Early diagnosis and prompt treatment can reduce the mortality and morbidity of this fatal fungal infection.

Background: Covid-19 pandemic has created a huge disruption in people’s life around the world. Physiotherapy students are not far off from its influence in their daily life. Not only has the pandemic affected their academics, it also has affected their daily life, their mental health and their productivity. Because of the lockdown, most people have undergone social isolation and loneliness. This study was conducted to find the impact of loneliness in Physiotherapy students during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Aim of Study: To determine and compare effects of high voltage electrical stimulation and honey therapy on wound healing of lower limb pressure ulcers: Subjects and Methods: In the current study, efficacy of high voltage electrical stimulation versus honey therapy in the treatment of lower limb pressure ulcer were investigated.
Back ground: Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting is a surgery to replace blocked arteries with healthy blood vessels and failure to fully evacuate a hemothorax post coronary artery bypass graft can lead to development of fibrothorax. Fibrothorax restricts the lung, and can begin as early as 1-2 weeks after the surgical procedure. Patients with fibrothorax report initial dyspnea. For mechanically ventilated patients, progressive difficulty with adequate ventilation due to restrictive lung mechanics can be seen.

Covid-19 is a disease that affects the whole world and often causes the death of hundreds of thousands of people with lung involvement. In recent years, it is an unprecedented reason for occupancy in hospital wards and intensive care units. In this study, it was aimed to compare the lung dynamics, prognosis, and mortality of vaccinated and unvaccinated patients in the intensive care unit. Patients hospitalized in Intensive Care Units between August 1, 2021 and September 30, 2021 were retrospectively examined.
