Background: The six-minute walk test is a simple, safe and well established assessment tool to assess exercise tolerance and endurance. Objectives: The aims of this study were to establish reference values of the six-minute walk test for children and adolescents aged from 12 to 18 years old and to compare between girls and boys regarding these values. Methods: 900 Egyptian healthy children of both sexes participated in this study.

Background: Down syndrome is one of the most common genetic causes of developmental delays. Children with Down syndrome exhibit a reduction in bone mineral density. Objective: To systematically review the available studies on the effectiveness of whole-body vibration on bone density in children with Down syndrome. Methods: Four electronic databases; PubMed, Cochrane Library, Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), and Google Scholar were searched up to June 2019.

The relationship between physical activity and LBP in adolescents appears to be curvilinear. The particular type of physical activity has also been related to risk of LBP in adolescents. Colorectal cancer (CRC) also called bowel cancer especially was related to bowel dysfunction leading to irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) which may compromise the patient’s quality of life.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of electrical stimulation on acupuncture point on lipid profile in obese pre-menopausal women. Fourty pre-menopausal women diagnosed with hyperlipidemia, were participated in this study. They were selected from outpatient clinic of Om El-Masreen General Hospital. Their age ranged from 40-45 years old, their body mass index (BMI) ranged from 30-35 kg/m2. All participants were free from Diabetes mellitus, hypertension, any cancer diseases, pacemaker and Hyperthyroidism.

Objective: To investigate traditional and alternative health seeking behavior for mental illnesses, among patients before visiting psychiatry department of Ch Rahmat Memorial Trust and Jinnah Hospital Lahore. Methods, Patients and setting: This cross-sectional multi-method study was conducted from May2017 to Sep. 2017 at two tertiary care and teaching hospitals in Lahore, and comprised patients with sample size 80 presenting with different mental illnesses at psychiatry OPD.

Presentation of the case. The case of a 25 year old woman diagnosed with osteosarcoma of the left proximal tibia is described, which was treated with en bloc resection with a non-conventional prosthesis operated at 8 years old at the Children's Hospital of Mexico; It first required replacement prosthesis at the age of 12 years, the second at 15 years old. The management of Le Fort-type fractures, their surgical repair and the management of the airway are a challenge for the surgeon and the anesthesiologist. Although orotracheal intubation is the most frequently used route in securing airway, it interferes with the surgical field, as an alternative nasotracheal intubation is commonly used. However, nasotracheal intubation is contraindicated in cases of skull-base trauma, therefore the tracheostomy is a good route for securing the airway, nevertheless, this procedure is associated with various complications.

Background: Diabetic nephropathy is one of the major microvascular complications of diabetes which eventually manifests into end-stage renal disease. One-third of the diabetic population is prone to develop nephropathy and it represents the major cause of morbidity and mortality. Objective: The purpose of this study was to find out the effect aerobic training on urinary albumin excretion protein in type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods: the study was conducted on twenty patients, their age ranged from 45 to 55 years.

The fundamental question in forensic science is identification of a person for legal and ethical issues and declaration of death reports. Even estimation of age in living persons for clarification of criminal and civil liability and social issues is on high pace. Teeth being the hardest part of the body and remains preserved without gross changes for longer period of time after death, it is one of the most reliable method for age estimation.
