Based on the study of some existing article, indicates that an important part of information for individuals and for organizations. Information plays an important role in many aspects, also serves as a tool for the organization to achieve its objectives, especially accounting information. This information plays an important role in business organizations.

Influence of user ability and top management support on the quality of accounting information system and its impact on the quality of accounting information

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of user ability, top management support and user involvement to the quality of the accounting information system and its implications on the quality of accounting information. The unit of analysis in this study is the head accounting staff of 55 colleges in Bandung-Indonesia. The results showed that the user ability, top management support, user involvement have a significant effect on the quality of accounting information systems.

Generalized darwinism foran evolution theory of marketing research: survival for the fittest of marketing knowledge

Green The purpose of this paper is to propose how can a generalized view of Darwinism can be capitalized on to argue for an evolution theory of marketing research. It is argued that the stages of variation, selection and replication in Darwinism thinking are analogous in conjunction to the encoding, application and decoding phases of evolutionary marketing research. This research concludes that such triangulated should lead to enhanced academic comprehension of marketing phenomena, insights and outlooks.

Career decision-making diffuculties in turkey and the usa

This study aims to compare high-school students in Turkey and the U.S., in terms of career-decision making difficulties. The research group consists of a total of 576 students, including 296 high-school students in the U.S, and 280 high-school students in Turkey. The data of the research were collected by the “Career Decision-Making Difficulties Questionnaire” (CDDQ). The career decision-making difficulties are composed of three sub-scales, including lack of readiness, lack of information and inconsistent information.

Combating racial stereotypes through film: an examination of strategies advanced by the film “a day without a mexican”

There are many diverging opinions on the issue of immigration and in 2012 one specific cultural group received large attention within national media. One movie offers a portrayal of what life would be like in California if those of Hispanic ethnicity suddenly disappeared. Director Sergio Arau’s “A Day without a Mexican” (2004) is a satirical comedy that seeks to demonstrate how important Hispanics are to California. This movie intends to be comedic while conveying a persuasive message about the important role of Hispanics in America.
