Linguistic features of request strategies in moroccan south eastern amazigh variety

It has frequently been noted that the Cross-Cultural Speech Act Realisation Project (CCSARP) posits a universal categorisation of requests. This serves as a foundation for investigating the request speech act within the Moroccan South-Eastern Amazigh variety (MSEAV) using the CCSARP model. Accordingly, this paper aims to determine whether native speakers of MSEAV employ distinct request strategies that may challenge the universality of conventionally indirect requests. The analysis employs the CCSARP model by Blum-Kulka et al.

Integration of media in teaching and learning is crucial in determining the quality of Christian Religious Education (CRE) curriculum implemented. Despite its importance, stakeholders have raised real concerns about the performance of the subject in secondary schools hence the need to establish stakeholders’ perceptions towards the influence of school based factors on media integration in teaching and learning of CRE in secondary schools in Vihiga County, Kenya.

Handheld multispectral uv–ir imaging system for real time detection of cheating slips and visible and invisible inks during academic examinations

The increasing sophistication of cheating techniques in academic examinations—such as the use of invisible inks and microprinted notes—presents a challenge to conventional invigilation methods. This paper presents the design and implementation of a handheld, embedded multispectral scanner capable of detecting concealed ink markings in real time. The proposed system employs ultraviolet (UV), infrared (IR), and visible spectrum illumination sources, integrated with a Pi Camera and Raspberry Pi 4 processing unit.

Permanence of a 3-species lotka-volterra models with cautious effect and feedback control

In this study, we analyze a three-species Lotka-Volterra model that incorporates two critical extensions: cautious behavioral effects and feedback control mechanisms. The cautiousness parameter quantifies adaptive strategies adopted by species in response to environmental uncertainties and interspecific interactions, while feedback control variables represent human interventions or ecosystem management efforts.

The present work aims to study the general and specific combining capacity of the varieties involved in the crossing according to the complete diallel scheme. The trial undertaken in randomized block with four (4) replications, on mineral nutrition (N24 P 12K 12 low background, N48P24K24 high background) was carried out in the experimental station of the National Institute of Agronomic Research of Brazzaville (IRA) in the Republic of Congo.

The study utilized the bureaucratic theory as its theoretical framework in understanding discipline and disciplinary procedures and effective service delivery in Nigeria's public service.

A look at phytotherapy in the fight against snakebites in the city of goma (north kivu, democratic republic of congo): ethnobotanical survey and human health

Our ethnobotanical survey was carried out among 29 healers and phytotherapists in the city of Goma. From this study, 26 plant species belonging to 24 genera and 19 families used against snake bites have been inventoried. The Asteraceae family (4 species and 4 recipes) is the most represented, followed by the Malvaceae and Verbenaceae families (2 species). The leaf is the most widely used organ, trituration is the most widely used preparation method, and the poultice is the most widely adopted method of administration.

Smart access: an rfid-based campus system for secure gate entry and exit verification

This study presents the design, development, and implementation of an RFID-based Verification System for managing gate entry and exit at Eastern Visayas State University – Ormoc Campus (EVSU-OC). Addressing the limitations of manual identity verification processes, the system was developed using agile methodology, integrating stakeholder feedback across iterative cycles to enhance usability and functionality.
